# Article 1 : South Florida hospitals will feel the pinch for patient safety problems



* Summary

  The article is about South Florida hospitals. Among the 31 Florida hospitals at risk of having their payments reduced, seven are in South Florida, the data shows in the article. And the crackdown on patient injuries will punish a quarter of the nation’s hospitals with the worst rates by reducing every Medicare payment.

 * Persuasive

When I read this article, I thought Korea drama ‘Doctor Stranger’. In this drama, there are some patient who cannot be treated for disease. Because payments of cure are very expensive. If I am the patient, what could I do? The answer is nothing. So, I agree with Medicare. Reducing payments to hospitals with poor patient safety performance is very good system. The other way, I am worried about justice between poor and rich people.

# Article 2 : Little effect in Florida from cell phone ruling

* Summary

The Florida Supreme Court was out in front on cell phones and warrants. Cell phones are very useful clues so most police uses the cell phones. The focus of article is when they get information out of somebody’s cell phone, they need a warrant or not.

 * Persuasive

In the article, Berry said, “If you want to get information out of somebody’s cell phone, go get a warrant.” I agree with him. The reason is that information in cell phones is individual. If they don’t get a warrant, they would arrogate human rights. That is breaking the law.

# Article 3 : Man with kitchen knife in back walks into NYC McDonald’s

 

 * Summary

 

 One day, people was screaming at a McDonald’s in New York City. The reason is that a man with kitchen knife in back walked into there. Investigation result by police is happening with several men fighting. Therefore, shocked customers ditched their food and the victim was carried to the hospital by ambulance.

 * Persuasive

The article is so scared. If I am at the McDonald’s in New York City, I would fall senseless. Now, I am screaming to see the picture that man with a knife in back. Before he was stabbed, he was on the phone talking to somebody in his family or a loved one or something. When I read this part in the article, I felt sorry and so sad.

# Article 4 : Washington Plan to Tax Yoga Leads to Political Posturing

* Summary
 

The article is about tax problem by planning yoga. Objectors about the plan went out on the street and said something to compare yoga with book tax. Solution in the article is that plans is to classify yoga as a religious activity, which by definition can’t be taxed.

 * Persuasive

  After I read this article, I think that the plane is good idea. The most important thing in life is healthy, so yoga is required for people. However, owner of tax is nation. If they don’t want to use tax by yoga, the plan would get out of use. This is my opinion.
